If you have not claimed you Google Business Profile, please do so NOW!
Sadly it’s too late for a company in East Lothian. We alerted the business owner of the exposure last year. Their Google Business Profile has now been claimed and they did not intervene in time to dispute ownership. The website now links to some foreign blog with adverts. I’ll not provide the link because it insists on you agreeing to a complex list of permissions that you can’t cancel without shutting down the browser tab.
It is not a good situation. It may now be difficult to gain control over this profile.

Although there is no mention of the East Lothian company, it is not good for business if your customers are sent to a page like this. You can act now to prevent this.
