Power Up Initiative

We are delighted to be able to let you know about a new fund for digital inclusion work which has launched this week.

The Power Up initiative is a £1.3 million grant-funding initiative that aims to support and motivate people to apply digital skills in their lives or businesses. Glasgow and Edinburgh are two of the four areas which will be supported.

There will be a Scottish launch event next Thursday in Glasgow at the Lighthouse on Thursday 27 June, from 2-4pm (registration 1.30pm).At the event, you’ll have the chance to find out more about the Power Up fund’s focus, eligibility criteria, and get some useful hints and tips to help with your application, as well as networking with people and organisations in the local area and begin to develop your ideas. You’ll also learn about the research that has informed the development of the fund.

Places are limited, and we would love to see you there. If you know of others who might be interested – please feel free to forward this link and encourage them to register now.

The initiative is a partnership between Good Things Foundation and J.P. Morgan, with SCVO as Scottish Strategic partners.

You can read the background research and eligibility criteria for the fund on the Powerup website and if you have any questions the team will be happy to help he***@**********rg.uk.
